Design of a presentation for a talk on artificial intelligence, thought, and learning. Based on the content and direction provided by the speaker, we developed the creative direction and visual language of the presentation, aiming for the slides to support the talk rather than transcribe it.
The design takes a mainly typographic approach, minimizing the use of imagery to let the concepts and the talk itself take center stage. The composition is built through large blocks of text, contrasts in scale, and a generous distribution of elements across the space.
Negative space plays a key role throughout the presentation. Rather than filling every available inch, the slides create pauses and tension around certain questions and ideas, leaving room for the speaker's voice to complete the content.
The presentation keeps a sober, structured visual language, using typography as its main visual device. Hierarchy, size, and placement create contrast between concepts and track the arc of the talk, from information overload and the impact of AI to a reflection on human intelligence.
